Function & Technology

The camshaft variator adjusts the valve timing depending on engine speed and load. This can improve torque in the lower and mid-range RPM and optimize engine performance. Adjustment is carried out hydraulically via the engine oil circuit.

This variator is supplied as an exchange part. The deposit will be refunded after returning the old part.

• Return of old part must be free of charge
• Returns from outside the EU are excluded

Installation note:
For optimal service life, we recommend changing the oil and filter before installation using suitable synthetic 10W40 oil.
